Daniella LeBlanc and Cameron Rocheford were chosen for Spartan of the month for their work with the voter registration drive for the political discussion club, and for their contributions to the AWRSD Community.

Oakmont involvement:  Political Discussion Club, Interclass, BOLD mentoring, OTV,  NAHS, Girl’s State

First Impressions on attending Oakmont: I didn’t know anyone so I was really nervous but I met great teachers and students pretty quickly

One word or phrase to describe yourself: inquisitive

Favorite place at Oakmont: The courtyard

Activities outside Oakmont: Skiing, Internship for Representative Zlotnik, work  

Bnl Favorite Oakmont memory or story to tell: Going to Friendly’s after interclass Sophomore. year

 

Favorite book, song or film: Harry Potter

Next year’s plans: Go to college somewhere in New England

Advice to underclassmen: Join clubs, talk to new people, really focus on grades sophomore and junior year

Favorite school or packed lunch: Buffalo chicken dip

Pet Peeve: not getting enough sleep

First Impressions on attending Oakmont: I had absolutely no idea where I was going. It literally took me 20 minutes to find the ‘down’ stairs.

One word or phrase to describe yourself: Driven

Favorite place at Oakmont: OTV Studio

Activities outside Oakmont: Scouting, Civil Air Patrol, Shaolin Kempo Karate, Intern for State Rep. Jon Zlotnik

Favorite Oakmont memory or story to tell: Filming the walk to school day Sophomore year. I got to take a time-lapse video from the eagle’s nest.

Favorite book, song or film: Economics in One Lesson by Henry Hazlitt

Fun Fact: I’m a student pilot at Fitchburg Airport

Next year’s plans: To attend a Service Academy or 4-year university for business economics or political science.

Advice to underclassmen: Don’t stress about the small things. My experience at Oakmont has shown me that everything works out with a little bit of effort. However, DON’T LOSE SLEEP.

Favorite school or packed lunch: Turkey lunch
