On Saturday, October 14th, the Oakmont-Overlook Marching Spartans performed in a NESBA competition at North Andover High School. After an excellent performance of their show “A Grimm Tale”, The Spartans ended up taking home First place in their division, along with Best Visual, Best Music, and Best Overall General Effect. The Spartans went up against three other schools such as Danvers High School, Leominster High School, and North Andover High School. Even coming from this big win, this dedicated group of students intend to work hard to improve their performance for the next competition at Wakefield High School, next Saturday, October 21st. Keep up the great work, Spartans!
