Everyone knows the struggle of trying to get a gift for that one friend, partner, or family member. They only respond in “Oh I don’t know”, “You don’t need to get me anything”, or “I don’t want anything” and it’s just difficult! You care about them, you want to get them something, but what? Here’s a list of the top 5 gifts that any type of person will enjoy
5. Something Comfy
We all love the holidays, especially the cold ones! Being able to give a blanket or some mittens to someone is very considerate and I believe would make a thoughtful present, perfect for anyone.
4. Something Homemade
When shopping seems too superficial, you can always turn to making something for the person. I turn to making a card using art supplies in my basement, but it’s all up to you! Maybe you’re an artist and you can draw them, maybe you have clay and can make them a sculpture or pot! It’s a pleasant surprise and will seen as unique and therefore, more enjoyed.
3. Something Baked
If you know they have a special spot for sweet goods, then you can always try baking them a treat for a gift! You can go from getting some cake mix to making the entire thing from scratch. You can make cookies, cupcakes, cake, or anything you believe they would enjoy, just remember to know their allergies before you put any nuts in it!
2. Something Easy
Whats easy you ask? Gift cards! Some people like to claim that gift cards are not personal and because of that, it’s not a good gift. But I completely disagree! A gift card can be used for anything so the person who receives it can get something they want when they want it! And, if you’re worried that gifting it would be boring, you can always get creative by DIYing a gift card holder or putting it in a box filled with confetti, and it’ll be much appreciated by your person.
1. Something Sweet
I asked a couple of people what to get someone who doesn’t want anything, and the only answer I got was “Candy!”. Candy is the perfect gift for anyone because everyone loves candy! You can always ask around and see if there’s a specific candy they like, or casually drop the question in a conversation, and the rest is easy!
Hopefully, this list helps you be able to pick a gift for that friend, partner, or family member in your life.
