Rippin’ Wristers And Making History

Last Saturday at the Wallace Civic Center Oakmont Boys’ Hockey put up 9 goals against the Leominster Blue Devils. Parker Johnson claimed 5 of those goals for himself (along with 2 assists). Johnson is in a three-way tie for most points scored in a game in Oakmont history. He speaks on the game:

“I thought that it was a moral boosting game for our team. We needed that win for momentum. Definitely the best game I’ve played in my career. I’m just glad we got the win in the end.” – Parker Johnson

The Spartans play an away game against Worcester on Saturday at 6:40PM.

Nola Patty is a part of the Class of 2024 at Oakmont Regional High School. This is her third year being a part of The Oakmonitor. Her main focus on the Oakmonitor page is sports/sports photography. Nola is a member of the Marching Spartans, and she plays lacrosse for the school as well. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music, watching hockey, and hanging out with friends. Nola has always wanted to be successful, but she never puts it above having fun and making memories. She enjoys taking photos, capturing happy moments for others, and writing about sports. She works with AWCM TV as an Ice Hockey Broadcaster. A long-term goal for her is to work in social media marketing or broadcasting for the NHL. Nola was appointed to the 2024 All-State MASPA Journalist staff.
