The Oakmont Cheer team is preparing for their winter season and what they hope is their best season yet! Their fall season did not end the way they hoped but they enter the winter with optimism and enthusiasm. The team has kicked off the winter season by cheering on the Spartan’s Boys Basketball team at home games while also working on their competition routine. The Spartans have been focusing on improving the difficulty of their routine with both harder stunts and tumbling. This will raise their score drastically which is what they need to move onto the regional and state competitions this season. The whole team is feeling excited and ready for this competition season. Their first competition will be held at South Hadley High School on February 11th where the girls will debut their new routine!
