Indoor Track and Field – D5 State Relay

On Friday the Girls Indoor Track team competed at the MSTCA Division 5 State Relay Meet. The long jump relay team of Lindsey Elliott, Maisie Rourke, and Dani Amoah placed 9th out of the 22 teams competing.

The Boys Indoor Track team also competed. Their 4x800m Relay team of Izaiah DeJesus, Chayse Parker, Eli Christ, and Jayden Brostrom placed 11th of 33 teams, running a state divisional qualifying time. These four came back later in the meet and placed 7th of the 28 teams competing in the Distance Medley Relay. The Indoor Track teams compete again on Wednesday at the 5th Wachusett Invitational Meet.

Nola Patty is a part of the Class of 2024 at Oakmont Regional High School. This is her third year being a part of The Oakmonitor. Her main focus on the Oakmonitor page is sports/sports photography. Nola is a member of the Marching Spartans, and she plays lacrosse for the school as well. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music, watching hockey, and hanging out with friends. Nola has always wanted to be successful, but she never puts it above having fun and making memories. She enjoys taking photos, capturing happy moments for others, and writing about sports. She works with AWCM TV as an Ice Hockey Broadcaster. A long-term goal for her is to work in social media marketing or broadcasting for the NHL. Nola was appointed to the 2024 All-State MASPA Journalist staff.
