On Thursday, March 14th, Oakmont hosted the annual District Concert Band night! Young musicians from John R. Briggs Elementry, Westminster Elementary, and Overlook Middle School joined Oakmont’s Concert Band on stage to perform together. After an excellent performance from each school individually, everyone joined on stage to play together. They played The Star Spangled Banner, Raiders March, and Proud Mary. It was once again another successful Band Night for the district’s music programs!

Kaitlyn Renda is part of the Class of 2026 at Oakmont Regional High School. This is her second year writing for The Oakmonitor and she is currently a Music Editor. She's in Marching Band, Jazz Band, Select Choir, SHF, Best Buddies, and NHS.
