On Wednesday, May 22nd the Oakmont-Overlook Marching Spartans traveled to the State House in Boston to be recognized for their championship win at finals this fall. The Spartans got a tour of the house led by Jon Zlotnick, a member of the House of Representatives. The students also were allowed to go on the floor of the House as they were announced to all the representatives, telling them about the Spartan’s win. This was only able to happen because of the hard work these students put into the program. Great job Spartans!
