Last Sunday, some drama club members attended the TAMYS at the Mount Wachusett Community College, centered on recognizing high school theater members’ talent and hard work. We started with an amazing performance of “Emerald City” from the musical Wicked, where we watched students from every school. Audrey Lavenski and Abby Cenotti were our school performers and they did a stunning job! We then heard an amazing speech from an Alumni member who went on to Major in theater and still does theater, giving everyone great advice for the future. We also had the opportunity to hear some extremely talented students sing songs from their leading roles, and I think everyone could agree that those students sounded amazing!
