The weeks seem to just keep flying by as we enter week 3 of the NFL. Right now we are seeing teams who are thought to be contenders be 0-2 and teams you might’ve thought would win 3 games be 2-0. Nonetheless it’s been an exciting start to the season.
Roy’s Picks:
This week you need to start 49er’s receiver Brandon Ayuik. Ayuik has had an incredible lack of production these first couple of weeks. However, that is all going to change with Deebo Samuel out and Christian McCaffery out. Ayuik is the clear number one passing option for this team. The 49er’s will also be up against a struggling Rams team which has been plagued by injuries; Making them a whole different team from what they were looking like in week 1. Ayuik has been due for a big week and this is very likely to be his breakout game to get things going for the season.
This week sit Rachaad White of the Tampa Bay buccaneers. White has shown an extreme lack of production and now with young back Bucky Irving starting to receive more snaps, it is likely we will see a decrease in usage of White. However, this is still White’s backfield so he’s going to see more opportunities than Irving to make plays happen. Although, Bucky does look like the better running back right now so if the young back gets going starting White is extremely risky.
Nevard’s Picks:
This week I interviewed English teacher/head of The Oakmonitor Mr. Mark Nevard. This week Nevard believes that you should be starting Kyle Pitts. The Chiefs have given up the most points to tight ends in fantasy in the NFL. Nevard loves to go off hunches, and this week he has a hunch that the Kirk Cousins to Pitt’s connection is going to be amazing. This would be Pitts’s first really good game of the season for fantasy, and if he’s going to break out it needs to be soon.
This week advises you to sit James Conner of the Arizona Cardinals. Conner has come up extremely big for the Cardinals in the last two games. However, they’re going up against the number one defense for fantasy running backs this week. Which means that the Lions have given up the least amount of points to fantasy running backs all year. Although it’s only been 2 weeks, Nevard believes that the Lions defense is going to be strong enough to stifle the Cardinals running back and make him very limited in their offense.
