Crazy thing to say but it could be true. The Minnesota Vikings have started 4-0, not just small wins either, and have one of the best defenses in the league. With the best WR and a new rising quarterback, they could finish the season as one of the best teams in the league.

I’ve been a Minnesota Vikings fan since I was born. There’s a picture of me when I was 4 sitting at the table in full Viking swag watching the game. Although I was born in Massachusetts, my parents were born in Minnesota and have raised me to be a die-hard. I have probably watched every game since I was a baby. Growing up around everyone being a Pats fan was kinda crazy. Every day I would hear slander about me being a Vikings fan.

This is the first year the Vikings have started 4-0 since 2018. Although they ended up not making playoffs that year, it’ll be different now. Every other 4-0 start has ended up with either a division championship loss or a Superbowl loss. Their only Superbowl appearances were in 1976, 74, 73 and 69. But they lost all of them. They’re definitely due for a big win. 

Injuries have been a small problem in the early season with their WR2, Addison, out for a couple of weeks but he’s returning this week. Hockenson is due to be back after this week but their 1st round pick, QB JJ McCarthy, is out for the season. His backup Sam Darnold has shown up though. After the third week, he is the NFL leader for passing touchdowns and over 650 passing yards.

According to Fox Sports, in the preseason, the Vikings had +8000 odds to win the Super Bowl. Those odds have since improved to +1400, the fifth-biggest change among all NFL teams. With these odds of +1400, the Vikings sport a 6.7% chance of being Super Bowl champs. As a lifelong Vikings fan, I am confident that the Minnesota Vikings will have one of their best seasons ever.
