Timpani Plaza in Gardner has been getting some major upgrades recently. With a new grocery store, Aldi, Five Below, and most importantly Chipotle. Many businesses have been in and out of this strip in the past few years, and COVID was a big reason for this. It looks like these are here to stay though. Chipotle will be opening on the spot of the former Santander Bank. The Gardner location will feature the chain’s signature “Chipotlane,” a drive-thru pickup lane that will allow customers to grab their digital orders without having to leave the car. The restaurant is on track to open in late 2024 or early 2025, according to an article in the Gardner News. These upgrades at Timpani Plaza, along with the strip mall across the street, will most likely bring many more people through Gardner and surrounding towns. I know me personally, I’ll be looking forward to getting a burrito every weekend after work. Even if they are skimping out on the proportions.
