Is Drake Maye the future of the Patriots?

The last hope for the Patriots?

With the loss against the Texans, and Drake Maye’s first start passing for over 200 yards and 3 touchdowns, fans are hopeful for this rookie’s career. After their last franchise quarterback, Tom Brady, Patriots fans hope the young rookie won’t disappoint in being their next big star. After the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Maye completed 26 passes out of 37 with 276 yards and 2 touchdowns. With the lack of weapons around him, I’m not surprised that the Pats lost to the Jags. With this team hopefully tanking for the first overall pick and taking a WR or a CB next year to make the defense even stronger. As a Patriots fan, I believe that the Patriots have a chance to return to their former glory.
