9. The Substance

This is one of the other horror movies on the top 10 list and is also the most gruesome. “The Substance” Stars, the famous actress, Demi Moore and follows a woman who is famous for her aerobics show. On her 50th birthday she gets fired by her boss and takes a black market substance to make her young again, and that’s when peculiar things start to happen.

8. The Fall Guy

“The Fall guy” is an action/comedy movie that Stars, famous actors, Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt. This movie follows a famous stuntman that goes on a search to find a missing character.

7. Mean Girls(2024)

This is the newer version of the 2004 movie “Mean Girls” and is much more of a musical than the first film was previously. This version stars Reneé Rapp as Regina George and Angourie Rice as Cady Heron. If you like musicals, this is the movie of 2024 for you! 

6. Twisters

5. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice

“Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” is yet another remake/continuation of an old classic that came out this year, as well as the third and final horror movie on this list. This movie stars many famous actors and actresses such as: Michael Keaton, Jenna Ortega, Winona Ryder, etc.

4. Challengers

The movie “Challengers” is a new movie starring Zendaya. It follows a tennis player turned coach turning her OK at tennis husband into a world famous tennis player. Patrick, Tashi’s (Zendaya) husband soon finds himself going against his ex-best friend and Tashi’s ex-boyfriend.

“Dune Part 2” is a continuation of the first movie called “Dune”. This movie stars Zendaya and Timothee Chalamet. It is a high energy action movie that is about Paul Atreides(Timothee Chalamet) getting revenge on the people that killed his family.

2. Inside Out 2

“Inside Out 2” is in my opinion and the schools opinion, one of the best movies that came out this year. It is especially special to our age group because we were the same age as Riley when we were young and we are still the same age as her now. Almost all of us can understand and relate to what she is going through at this age because it happened and is happening to us.

It has already grossed over 1 billion dollars and has only been out for a month.
