Whenever you get upset, stressed, or even bored, I bet you drive down to the nearest store and get some ice cream. As you look through the aisles trying to find the best ice cream, the wide variety of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream definitely catches your eye.

There are so many different flavors and hundreds of different ways to assemble your ice cream. I personally have a list of my favorite flavors that I share and influence others to buy. This list might be long, but the sweet treats are worth it!

Ben and Jerry’s ice cream was founded on May 5, 1978, in Burlington, Vermont, U.S. The founders were named Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield. You may be wondering why two random men from Vermont created one of the most loved ice cream brands in the whole world. Well, funny enough they actually had a gym class together, and both hated running. They bonded over their hatred for running and found a common interest in food, more specifically in ice cream. Their end goal was to create the finest-quality ice cream for all communities and make some great flavors. 

I have tried many of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream flavors and have many comments and recommendations for anyone looking to have a late-night sweet treat. First, and one of my favorites, is Cherry Garcia. This ice cream consists of a cherry-flavored ice cream base, big chunks of black cherries, and lots of fudge flakes. The combination of chocolate and cherry chunks is just genius. The two ingredients marry so very well together and really leave an impression on your taste buds. I, 100 percent, recommend this ice cream that you can eat straight out of the jar!

Next, despite my underlying ick for raw ingredients, is chocolate chip cookie dough. I really don’t know how they make this ice cream so good. The creaminess of the doughy bits in the ice cream as well as the hearty chocolate chip pieces really make the ice cream a world-wide loved treat. This ice cream consists of a vanilla ice cream base and chocolate chip cookie dough bites. I want to try to add pretzels to this ice cream to add a crunch factor and I think it will really add to the delicious flavor. 

Lastly, the American Dream is a treasured treat in my household. This ice cream contains a vanilla ice cream base, fudge-covered waffle cone pieces, and a caramel swirl. I know this ice cream may seem a little chaotic with many different ingredients in it, but trust me, it’s the right amount of sweetness and texture to make it a delicious choice!

In conclusion, I only recognized a few of my favorite flavors. Yet, there are so many more flavors I have not mentioned that you should try! Ben and Jerry’s is a genius franchise that has flavors for everyone according to their own likings and favorites. I truly like this brand because of its variety as well as inclusion with their vegan and non-dairy products as well. They also sell cookie dough bites in a variety of flavors which blows my mind and adds to my respect for their brilliant brand. I hope that all the readers can try the flavors I recommended or even recommend some to try.
