Are you ready for more? This week I tried Crumbl’s new lineup, consisting of a semi-sweet chocolate chunk, double fudge brownie, cookie dough, peanut butter crisp, cornbread, and blueberry muffin. Here is what I thought of them.
Cookie Dough:
This cookie was amazing! It had very yummy cookie dough chunks on top. It was the perfect ratio of cookie dough and chocolate chips. I love how the cookie had little mini chocolate chips on top! Overall, I would definitely give this cookie a 9/10. It was amazing. This one was my favorite out of them all.
Cornbread:
The second cookie I tried was cornbread. Personally, I do not like cornbread, so I did not enjoy this cookie. It had no flavor, in my opinion, but if you are a cornbread lover you would probably like this cookie. It wasn’t the worst cookie I’ve ever had but definitely wasn’t the best. I didn’t really like how the cookie had honey on it, it just did not go well together. Overall I would give this cookie a 6/10.
Blueberry Muffin:
The next cookie I had was the blueberry muffin. This one was awesome. If you love actual blueberry muffins, you would probably love this. It had an amazing blueberry flavor and the icing was incredible. This was definitely one of the best cookies I have ever had. The flavors mixed great together. I give this cookie an 8.5/10. It was delicious.
Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunk:
The next cookie was the semi-sweet chocolate chunk. Crumbl switches their chocolate chip cookie every week. One week it will be semi-sweet chocolate chips and the next week it will be milk chocolate chips. The milk chocolate chip from Crumbl is the best thing ever, but sadly when I got it, it was semi-sweet. I did not enjoy the semi-sweet one. I thought it wasn’t sweet and just really bitter. This cookie also had salt chunks on it which I did not like. I would give this cookie a 5/10. It was just average.
This week I did not get the chance to get the peanut butter cookie or the big brownie. I am sure they are great though.
Other Opinions:
Sophomore Francesca Donahue’s favorite was the cookie dough. She said, “This cookie has wonderful flavors and is the perfect amount of sweetness and I love the icing on top. Overall, I would give this cookie a 9.5/10. I loved it.”
Donahue also really liked the blueberry. She explained, “The icing on the cookie was great. It was the perfect amount of sweetness and I loved how the cookie was warm and soft. I gave this cookie a 9/10. It was delicious.”
The next one was the cornbread: “If you are a cornbread lover you would definitely like this one it had a great cornbread flavor. It was super soft and I liked the butter frosting on top. I gave this cookie an 8.5/10.”
After, was the semi-sweet chocolate chunk. ‘This one was very basic, just a plain, old chocolate chip cookie. It isn’t as good as the milk chocolate chips but was still pretty yummy. I would give this cookie a 6/10. Just an average chocolate chip cookie.”
Overall, Crumbl had a great lineup this week and I can’t wait to go back in the future to get more!
