The Oakmont-Overlook Marching Spartans will be hosting their 2nd annual Oakmont Invitational this Saturday. The show starts at 2:30 and the Marching Spartans perform at 3:30.

Sophie Newell is a part of the Class of 2026 at Oakmont Regional High School, this is her third year as a member of The Oakmonitor. She is a member of the Marching Band, Class Office, SADD, SHF, and the lacrosse team. In her spare time, she enjoys being with friends and swimming. After graduation, she hopes to go to college to become a pilot. Sophie has already been recognized for her writing talents, being awarded an Honorable Mention in the Will McDonough Boston Globe Sports Writing contest.
