On December 14, the indoor track team showcased their work against 25 other schools at the season’s first meet, WinterFest at the Reggie Lewis Center. Junior Jayden Brostrom won first place in the Boys 1000-meter race, along with senior Izaiah Dejesus who ended in ninth, and senior Brady Law in twelfth. Dejesus also captured ninth place for the Boys 600-meter run. Junior Jackson Traylor ended the Boys 300-meter in sixth place. Finally, Oakmont teams placed sixth in the Boys 4×800 meter and second in the Boys 4×400.

Megan Vance is part of the Class of 2026 at Oakmont Regional High School. This is her fourth year writing for The Oakmonitor, and she is currently the Sports Editor. Besides that, she is a member of the Student Council, National Honor Society, French Honor Society, and is an editor for the 2026 Yearbook. Megan also plays lacrosse in the spring.
