Crumble Cookie is the most viral cookie business ever. People crave them, they wake up early and stand in line for Crumble Cookies, and many buy these cookies every week. You probably don’t have social media if you don’t know what crumble cookie is. It’s basically a big cookie business that sells overpriced cookies and they change their flavors every week. Don’t get me wrong, I love Crumble Cookie and its variety of cookie flavors, but It gets to the point where some people eat too much of it.
Eating these cookies too much can turn into an unhealthy habit. One Crumble Cookie can be about 700-800 calories, that’s more than eating one pint of vanilla ice cream, Which is about 137 calories. Can you imagine how much it is to eat 4 Crumble Cookies a WEEK!? According to Real California Milk, about 57% of Americans have dessert right after eating, and according to Study Finds, 35% of these Americans eat cookies for dessert. That means that most people who eat dessert eat cookies and one of the most popular cookie places to go is Crumble. Many love Crumble but many have also had problems with it mostly because the cookies are raw.
Many Crumble Cookie fans have complained about how the cookies aren’t fully baked. Even influencers have addressed this issue, especially those reviewing these cookies.
QetSiyah, the creator of a blog named unserious mentioned this issue in her post A half-baked scheme: The crumble cookie drama, and she addressed and talked about a post someone made on Reddit saying ” got food poisoning from raw crumble” The user also shared a photo of the cookie showing that it was raw on the inside. There have been a lot of concerns about the cookies being raw. Many people have complained about the issue but others never even heard of it. “I’ve never had a raw Cookie from Crumble honestly I’ve never even heard of a raw Crumble Cookie,” said Sophomore Gabby Comeau.
Crumble has had its controversies, but it will always be a loved and enjoyed cookie business.
