8th Grade Step Up Day: Overlook Students Tour Oakmont

Oakmont Juniors – Brian Sanjong and Maggie Hubbard give Overlook 8th Graders a tour (Amelia Garlock )

Before Brian and Maggie started the tour they got their tour group sheets and prepared to show these kids a fun and informational tour about our amazing school. They talked about all the classes and extra circular activities students could be apart of if they come to Oakmont. They did this for two tour groups, showing the Oakmont students’ experience, and sharing the spartan spirit!

Amelia Garlock is part of the Class of 2026 at Oakmont Regional High School. This is her first year being part of The Oakmonitor. She plays soccer in the fall as well as runs the 200 meter and throws javelin during track season in the spring. Her favorite seasons are autumn and summer. In her free time she enjoys swimming in the summer, going to amusement parks, and skiing during the winter. She is excited to be a contributing member of The Oakmonitor.

Brian Sandjong is a Junior who is a part of class 2026 at Oakmont Regional High School and is a reporter for The Brian Sandjong is a Junior who is a part of class 2026 at Oakmont Regional High School and is a reporter for The Oakmonitor. Brian has been on The Oakmonitor for 3 years and is very excited to do it for a third time. Brian is also a part of French Honors Society and president of the class of 2026. He enjoys Basketball, running, cooking, and reading in his downtime. He is smart, outgoing, and hardworking and strives to help make The Oakmonitor the best it can be.
