Crumbl Cookie – a sweet treat business that has recently grown to fame. Every week Crumbl offers eight new cookies and sometimes a plethora of desserts. This week’s menu includes the brookie pie, eggnog tres leches cake, Reese’s peanut butter cup cookie, semi-sweet chocolate chunk cookie, cookies and cream cookie, raspberry butter cake cookie, cinnamon crunch cookie, and a cowboy cookie.
Brooke Pie: The brookie pie is a soft chocolate chip cookie with a brownie in the middle, a scoop of vanilla bean mousse, and semi-sweet chocolate drizzled on top. Overall, this pie was an amazing blend of flavors that melted perfectly together in your mouth. We both picked the brookie pie as our favorite and thought it was wonderfully made. The chocolate of the brownie mixed with the sweetness of a chocolate chip cookie emphasized the richness of the dough. Ellarie Healey gave the brookie pie 4/5 stars while Aubrey Chagnon gave it 5/5 stars being the best of all the sweets.
Eggnog Tres Leches Cake: The tres leches cake was a wonderful, light and fluffy vanilla cake, soaked in eggnog and the tres leches sauce. With whipped cream and cinnamon on top, that pulled it all together. Overall, this cake was a perfect mix of flavors and had that homemade type of feeling. Although this cake wasn’t our favorite, it was definitely near the top of our list. Overall, Healey rated this cake 3/5 stars whilst Changnon gave a 4/5.
Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup: Warm and delicious, this cookie is peanut butter flavored with melted chocolate drizzled with Reese’s peanut butter cups crumbled on top. Chagnon despises the flavor of peanut butter but sacrifices her taste buds to deliver the perfect review. This was Chagnon’s least favorite cookie which is reflected by her rating of 1/5. On the other hand, Healey rated this cookie a 3/5 due to the nice variety of flavors.
Semi-sweet Chocolate Chunk Cookie: With chunks and not chips, this is a soft and buttery treat that is oddly sprinkled with flakes of sea salt, but really enhances the lovely taste of the cookie. Although the butter in this cookie was very prominent, this definitely was a cookie to enjoy. Overall, Healey rated this cookie a 5/5 and Chagnon a 3/5.
Cookies and Cream Cookie: Bursting with flavor the cookies and cream cookie is both a milk and white chocolate cookie drizzled with white chocolate topping. The chocolate flavor is very rich, yet the cookie crumbles in your mouth. Chagnon thought this cookie was average, giving it a rating of 1.5 /5. Healey thought this cookie was a 1.5/5 because she thought it was too sweet for just one bite, although if sugar’s your thing, this might just be the perfect treat for you.
Raspberry Butter Cake Cookie: Crumbl’s Raspberry Butter Cake Cookie certainly impressed us with its buttery flavor, raspberry topping, butter glaze, and a fluffy dollop of white buttercream. This cookie manifested the flavor of a raspberry cheesecake – there were more similarities than differences. Chagnon thought this cookie was very delicious and rated it a 3/5, whilst Healey agreed and gave it a 3/5.
Cinnamon Crunch Cookie: This is a wonderfully made cinnamon sugar cookie covered with vanilla cream cheese frosting and topped with a few cinnamon toast crunch bits. Overall, this was a really nice cookie with an amazingly creative taste. Healey rated this cookie a 3/5 and Chagnon a 2/5.
Cowboy Cookie: The cowboy cookie crumbled our expectations. It is an oatmeal cookie mixed with delicious semi-sweet chips, and topped with sweetened coconut bits plus some crunchy toasted pecans. For coconut lovers, this is a lovely, sweet, and tasty cookie, but due to personal preferences Healey and Chagnon both gave this cookie a 1/5.
The unique flavors and beautiful toppings, really make this a top-tier business, with fun new treats every week. So, is each bite worth the hype? You’ll have to see for yourself.
