Over the break, the cheer team competed in the Division 2 MidWach League championship, where they were crowned as champions. Cheer team member Nadalee Madhere was named as a League Academic All-Star, while Cheer Captain Rebecca Alves and Madison Sullivan were named League Athletic All-Stars. Their next stop is the Regional Tournament in Shepherd Hill on March 2nd.

Joseph Kovaleski is a part of the Class of 2025 at Oakmont Regional High School. This is his first year being a part of The Oakmonitor. Throughout the school year, he is a member of Oakmont's Student Council where he coordinates and participates in some of Oakmonts biggest events. During his free time, he enjoys watching sports like the NBA and the NFL and likes to play basketball during the spring and summer months. When the Celtics aren't playing that night, he enjoys spending time with his friends and playing video games. He is very excited to be a member of The Oakmonitor this year.
