Oakmont student-athletes attended a leadership workshop, took place last Friday, March 20th. The MIAA held a conference with ninety-three Massachustts students who possess attributes of a true leader on the field and in the classroom. Coach Leanne Roy traveled to Franklin MA, alongside seven of our blossoming Oakmont leaders. The workshop focused on developing leadership skills by participating in several activities. These activities allowed students to interact with other emerging mentors. Through these interactions, representatives were able to bond with similar interests and qualities. Overall, the conference was immensely beneficial and educational. The takeaways will certainly allow for an even more positive atmosphere here at Oakmont!
