For the upcoming summer of 2025, there are many places you can buy clothes from. There is always Abercrombie & Fitch, Urban Outfitters, Lululemon, etc, but in order to afford a cute summer wardrobe, you have to make thousands of dollars. Most teenagers do not want to break the bank just to get some cute clothes. In this article, I will show you all my research on the best, most affordable, and still cute places to buy your clothes, bathing suits, and accessories for summer.
Shein
Shein is a great online place to buy from when looking for summer clothes. They ship to everywhere in the United States, as well as internationally. I know some people are skeptical when buying from Shein, but Shein has upped their game, and the clothes have gotten so much cuter and have been made from better quality materials. The prices on Shein are very affordable and can be as cheap as just a few dollars.
Personally, I once bought 20 things from Shein and only spent around $80. From any other store, $80 would only be enough to get me a shirt, which is insane. Shein’s bathing suit quality is good, and the patterns and prints you can find are so adorable. I would not recommend buying sweatshirts from Shein because the material is not the best, but the shirts, bottoms, and bathing suits are where it’s at.
Shein also provides an amazing selection of sandals, sunglasses, hair clips, phone cases, etc. All of their merchandise is great dupes for brands that sell them for higher prices. Overall, Shein is a great place to shop. The shipping is very cheap as it is only a few dollars, and it only takes a few weeks to arrive. I will definitely be shopping for Shein to build up my summer wardrobe!
Hollister
Another great option when looking to expand your summer wardrobe without hurting your pockets is Hollister! Hollister has an online shopping space as well as locations in almost every mall worldwide. Hollister has some of the best quality shorts and t-shirts I have ever seen and felt. The sweatshirts they sell have the cutest patterns like hibiscus flowers, surfers, hearts, and bows, which are all perfect for a cute summer wardrobe.
Also, Hollister has a wide variety of swimsuits and cover-ups as well. The prices range from $25-$80 and are worth the small splurge for the amazing quality that they are. Compared to other high-end stores, Hollister sells almost the exact same merchandise but for a much better price.
Additionally, they also sell linen pants, which are perfect for covering up after the beach or just wearing on those windy but hot nights. Also, they have a wide range of shorts. They have jorts, short shorts, medium length, and more, so there is something for everyone! I love how inclusive, cheap, and good quality this store is, and will definitely be a pit stop of mine for my summer wardrobe.
Thrift Stores
There are many thrift stores around the Massachusetts area. There is the Salvation Army in Fitchburg, MA, Consignment and Mass Value in Leominster, MA, and more. These are just a few thrift stores in my area, where you can find summer clothes at the cheapest price. Some of these stores allow you to buy clothes by the pound for a set amount, or even fill up a bag, and whatever you fit into the bag, you buy for a set price.
It really depends on the place, but it does not get any better than those deals. I have seen in person and online the amazing deals offered at the thrift. The shirts are as cheap as one dollar, and sometimes, if you’re lucky, they also sell designer bags. These bags would look so cute with any of your other clothes in your wardrobe.
You can even sometimes find outfits, brand new with tags, at the thrift for half the price of in-store bought outfits. In addition, thrift stores sell good-quality glasses and watches as well, which would make great accessories for your summer wardrobe. I will 100 percent be shopping at all of my local thrift stores this summer to build up my wardrobe for cheap!
These many stores are just a few examples of good places to buy from to build your summer wardrobe. I know I sometimes have trouble finding affordable yet preferable stores to buy from, but trust me on this one, these shops are where it’s at. To sum it up, I hope everyone has a great summer and can build the best summer wardrobe ever with these tips.
