Everything that happens in our lives has a reason and a purpose.
I firmly believe in this idea and trust that no matter what I do, I’ll end up right where I am meant to be.
This idea is a very controversial topic, bringing different beliefs, cultures, and religions into play. Most people who believe in God believe that God has a plan. And all he does is for a reason and a purpose.
Others who don’t believe in any higher being may rely on the idea that everything happens for a reason; it may comfort them in dark times.
There is a wide variety of people who fully believe and rely on this idea. However, there are more than plenty who don’t.
In our world today, we have a vast variety of beliefs.
Those who don’t believe in this idea that everything happens for a reason may believe that each and every action they make leads them to the next. While this is realistic thinking, even those who believe in a higher power may agree with this thought process.
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33
This verse is a great example of how I believe God has a plan, he has things in store for us. And if we praise and worship him, great things of his kingdom and righteousness will be returned to us.
We grew up in a world where consequences are the result of your own actions. We are taught that each thing we do will result in a positive or negative outcome. So, for some, it may be hard to escape this way of thinking.
Many people rely on this idea as a comforting concept. People will make reckless decisions but justify those decisions and tell themselves “everything happens for a reason”.
However, I stand confident in my belief that everything does happen for a reason.
