April vacation is just around the corner. What are your plans? Spring break is a time when students get a break from school. Some may travel, and some may stay home! Both options have great benefits.
Traveling during spring break can be exciting, whether it’s a trip to the beach, National parks, or the city. Traveling allows you to experience different things. Traveling is a great way to get away from reality and not follow your daily routine. It’s a great way to make memories and spend time with your friends and family.
Another great benefit to traveling is that if you go somewhere warm, you get to escape this cold, gloomy Massachusetts weather! If you can travel, you probably have a lot more options to choose from, like swimming at the pool, going to the beach, having a nice dinner, hiking, or even visiting a national park.
Staying at home is also a great way to spend your vacation! You can just sleep in, hang out with friends, and stay at home to enjoy your own space. Staying home is a low-key break that might be just what you need. Staying at home is also really good because it can allow you to relax and recharge without the stress of travel plans.
You can also start doing something that you have been wanting to do. For example, watching a new TV series or even just going to the gym and working out. Staying local is also good to save your money. Overall, staying at home is just as good as traveling, in my opinion.
Many athletes who do spring sports aren’t able to travel. Often, many spring sports have many practices a week or even games during the week of break, which means that there is no time for these athletes to travel. Most kids who commit to their teams stay home, train, practice, and go to games. I am not saying that athletes can’t go on vacation during break. However, most likely they will miss games and practices.
I know that some coaches tell their athletes that if they miss a practice, they can’t play in a game. If you miss a whole week of practice, that means you can’t play in 5 games; that is a lot. And that might hurt your team if you are good. I say that most athletes don’t travel to stay true to their team!
In conclusion, whether you choose to stay at home or travel for April vacation both offer entertaining options. Traveling allows you to escape reality, meet new people, enjoy new foods, experience different cultures, and create amazing memories. Staying at home provides a chance to escape reality, relax, and save money. When staying home you can find new hobbies that you like. Overall, I think that both options are great, and I hope no matter what, everyone has a great break!
