The MIAA Power Rankings Have Been Updated!

Where have the Oakmont Spring Sports landed on the most recent power rankings made by the MIAA.

The MIAA have released their most recent power rankings for Baseball, Softball, and both Girls and Boys Lacrosse. Here is where each of our teams landed. These rankings are as of May 9th, 2025.

Oakmont Baseball: ranked #16 in Division III and currently have a 9-2 record as of May 9th

Oakmont Softball: ranked #47 in Division III and currently have a 4-7 record as of May 9th

Oakmont Boys’ Lacrosse: ranked #7 in Division IV and currently have an 10-3 record as of May 9th

Oakmont Girls’ Lacrosse: ranked #20 in Division IV and currently have a 4-8 record as of May 9th

There are still a couple of weeks left in the season and these rankings are subject to change, so their is still a chance that Oakmont is present in every postseason.

Joseph Kovaleski is a part of the Class of 2025 at Oakmont Regional High School. This is his first year being a part of The Oakmonitor. Throughout the school year, he is a member of Oakmont’s Student Council where he coordinates and participates in some of Oakmonts biggest events. During his free time, he enjoys watching sports like the NBA and the NFL and likes to play basketball during the spring and summer months. When the Celtics aren’t playing that night, he enjoys spending time with his friends and playing video games. He is very excited to be a member of The Oakmonitor this year.

Ava Corso, Assistant Design/Photographer

Ava Corso is a part of the Class of 2025 at Oakmont Regional High School. This is her first year being a part of The Oakmonitor. She is a member of the competition team at The Dance Center in Winchendon MA. She is very involved in her community and is a member of the National Honors Society, Spartan Center, Students Against Destructive Decisions, and Yearbook. In her free time she works on her photography business and spends time with family and friends. She is thrilled to contribute to The Oakmonitor this year.
