On Monday, May 19th, the SADD club invited D block classes to the FBI-created film, Chasing the Dragon. This Documentary helped raise awareness about what it is like to live with an Opiate addiction. The movie followed the stories of people who have struggled or knew someone who did. It showed that no matter who you are, where you come from, or how old you are, you can be affected by drug abuse. Junior Brett Crossman stated, “I’ve learned that even if you are clean for so long, you can always relapse.” Thank you to SADD for sharing this film with the school and continuing to spread awareness.
