On Thursday, May 1st, the class of 2026 hosted Joe DeVito, the hypnotist, to raise money for prom. Ms. Bergin, Mrs. Brown, and the 2026 class office organized the event.
The show was definitely worth attending. DeVito began by having many members of the audience volunteer to come up on stage and be hypnotized. He then began performing all kinds of wacky and ridiculous acts with them, for example, making them dance like Elvis Presley, making their hands and arms stick in the air, making them fall asleep, and making them dance like ballerinas.
One of the audience members said, “It was very entertaining and funny how he convinced the volunteers to do whatever he said.” At the end of the show, none of the volunteers could really remember what had happened and seemed to have lost memory of the whole thing.
Overall, it was certainly a night to remember, and if you have never been to a hypnotist, you should definitely attend next time.
