Sam Kender, Reporter
Sam Kender is a part of the Class of 2026 at Oakmont Regional High School. This is their second year as a member of The Oakmonitor, for they didn’t join until the very end of their freshman year. They are a member of 15 clubs and run 3 of them, being Diversity Club, Debate Club, and Library Advisory Board. They are a part of many musical ensembles, being in the color guard, marching band, and winter guard, and playing tenor sax in concert band and singing in concert choir. In the little free time they have, their favorite activity is reading a nice book outside on their hammock. After graduation, they hope to go to a 4-year college to major in a form of social sciences and minor in a form of writing. A poem they entered in a poem competition last year got into a book of the top 100 poems entered!
