The Patriots are a very well-known football team, whether it comes to their 6 Super Bowl wins, their undefeated season, or even just Tom Brady; everyone has heard of the Patriots. The question everyone has been asking is “But how will they compete this year?” This season, their schedule is ranked as the 2nd easiest.
During the 25-26 offseason, the Patriots have added many key players that they needed. For example, the 2 I think about are Stefon Diggs, WR, and Will Campbell, LT. Besides new players, the Patriots are in the AFC East division, which includes the Jets, Dolphins, and the Bills. From what I’ve seen, the Bills are gonna be the best team in the AFC East if Josh Allen (previous MVP) has another breakout season. From the Patriots’ schedule, I am predicting that they’re gonna go 11-6 this year, having the 5th seed and making it to the AFC divisional round, but losing.
Even after all the Patriots hype and how they performed during the preseason, we still haven’t seen much from QB Drake Maye. It might be that they’re trying to hide what they’re running for the season, or they just don’t want him playing. Last year, Maye helped the Patriots to a 4-13 record, which is not the best, but he was a rookie. The hype is overboard for him
right now, so we are all just waiting to see what he can bring this season. The Patriots also have one of the best if not the best, corners in the league, Christian Gonzalez, who is ready to put on a show this year.
Also on the topic of rookies, Patriots rookie Treyvon Henderson looks ready to go for the season. His first NFL touch in his first preseason game was a kickoff return TD in a 48-18 win against the Commanders. So after all these changes that the Patriots made in the offseason, it looks like they will have a really good season.
The real way to have a dream team is to have a real coach who is passionate about football and winning. This past January, the Patriots re-hired HC Mike Vrabel, who has helped the Patriots win 3 Super Bowls back in 2001, 2003, and 2004. Considering he’s helped the Patriots win 3 rings, I’m guaranteed he’s very ready for this season.
We will have to just go and find out.
