On Thursday, September 24, 2025, Oakmont’s annual club fair was held in the Old Gym during C block.
Many students came to explore the clubs available and to determine if they were interested in joining.
The clubs set up included Bible Study Club, Music Ensembles, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Drama Club, Chess Club, The Oakmonitor, The Forum, Creative Writing Club, GSA, SADD, Library Advisory Board, Peer Leaders, Active Minds, Best Buddies, Healthcare Club, and Oakmont Environmental Association.
Jaelyn Gagnon, a junior and member of the Peer Leaders, was in charge of the Peer Leaders section. When asked if she thought the club fair would benefit peer leaders, she answered, “Yes, I believe peer leaders will definitely benefit from the club fair.”
Many students attended the fair to see the wonderful presentations for these clubs, and sign-up sheets were available for students to register for a club of their interest.
Overall, the club fair was a positive and beneficial experience for freshmen, club members, and students who wanted to get more involved in extracurricular activities.
