October Focus for Spartan of the Month: Communication

With a new school year, Oakmont has revised their Spartan of the Month expectations. Each month, faculty and staff will be looking for a specific quality in students to earn Spartan of the Month.

October’s focus is communication at school.

Other topics they are looking to raise awareness for include critical thinking, responsibility, decision-making, personal wellness, and global citizenship. Keep working hard, and you could be honored as the next Spartan of the Month!

Stella Deschenes is part of the class of 2027 at Oakmont Regional High School. This is her third year in The Oakmontior. She helps publish and run the Spartan of the Month page. Additionally, at Oakmont she is an honors student. Outside of school, she babysits and is on the FreeForm Dance Academy’s competition team, which takes up most of her time. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, spending time with friends and family, reading and writing, watching TV, and all things Christmas. She is excited to learn more while being a part of The Oakmonitor.
