Best Buddies had its first meeting on Tuesday, October 7th, during homeroom. There was an amazing turnout, and excitement was in the air as we talked about our first event, which will be supporting the Unified Basketball team for their first game of the season.

Amanda Buszkiewicz is a senior in the class of 2026 at Oakmont Regional High School. This is her second year participating in The Oakmoniter. She is the president of the Best Buddies club, the vice president of the Student Advisory Council, and on the E-Board for SADD and DEI. She is also a member of Peer Leaders, NHS, OEA, and Drama Club. In her free time, she likes to bake and hang out with her friends. She looks forward to contributing to The Oakmoniter.
