Psychology students perform experiments
Oakmont juniors and seniors in Ms. Martin’s C block Psychology class presented their findings of their psychology experiments regarding human behavior. The students conducted their experiments on Tuesday and Thursday the week before April break. Students were required to find a topic they were interested in studying, and create an experiment that would either prove or disprove their hypothesis. Test subjects were Oakmont volunteer students. Some of the experiments included topics such as the effects of music on concentration, high school student behavior due to the pandemic, effects of pop quizzes, and whether boys or girls would perform better on the Stroop test.
