This past Friday the Oakmont National Honors Society traveled to the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery. NHS members had spent the past 2 weeks fundraising through raffling tickets out to community members. The prize was a wreath covered in gift cards, perfect for re-gifting during the holiday season. In total, the NHS raised $600, which was all donated to Wreaths Across America. The NHS had the wonderful opportunity to attend the ceremony in Winchendon, and was able to see and participate in the wreath laying. It was a beautiful day to honor our veterans.
