April Spartan of the Month

Congratulations to Senior Samuel Russo for being recognized as the April Spartan of the Month. 

Samuel was nominated by Mrs. Childress and the nomination reads as follows…

“Sam is a senior at Oakmont who strives to do his very best in all aspects of his life. He is a member 

of the Oakmont Marching band, Jazz Band, and Concert band. Sam is a student dedicated to his 

academics and is always putting in a good effort for all of his classwork. He is a student who is 

described by teachers as being very kind and respectful to both his classmates and his teachers. 

Sam has many interests outside of music including a passion for meteorology and weather and  

everything related to sports!”
