Kick Off to Oakmont´s Fall Sports
The varsity fall sports at Oakmont are on a roll this season. First, the football team played their first game of the season against Narragansett last Friday (September 9) winning 38-12. The boys play Clinton away this Friday (September 16).
Cross Country at Oakmont has started up! Results from their meet against Marlborough are in. Coming in first place for the girls is McKinley Chabot running the course in 22:21.5. In third place for the boys is Jaydon Brostrom running the course in 19:49.6. Great start to the season!
The Oakmont soccer program has had a phenomenal start to their 2022 season. Boys´ soccer has a record of 2-0 heading into this week. They won 6-2 their first game against Maynard and followed that up with a 6-1 win against Tyngsborough.
Girls´soccer is also holding a record of 2-0. They started off their season with a 2-0 home opener win against Maynard. Another 3-1 home win against Tyngsborough sets the girls up for a great season.
Boys´ golf holds a record of 1-1. They won 51-3 against Fitchburg High September 8th. Their next match is against North Middlesex September 15th.
Field hockey has a record of 2-1. The girls have pulled off two phenomenal wins so far this season. They won their first game 4-1 against Groton-Dunstable and just yesterday they won 6-0 against Shepard Hill.
