Big Bad B’s Are Back!

New England – especially Boston, Mass – has always been known for its sports. Last year the Boston Celtics were the ” talk of the town”, but now the Big Bad B’s are the hot topic. Currently leading in the NHL with a record of 9-1-0, they are on a 6-game winning streak. Many fans were very skeptical of Don Sweeney’s (Bruins General Manager) choice on firing Head coach Bruce Cassidy after the 21-22 season. With that, new head coach Jim Montgomery seems to be doing a fine job so far. After a few trades made in the off-season, the Bruins have secured their 4 lines. Starting line we have the one and only Patrice Bergeron at center. This will be his last season as a Bruin, he announced his retirement plans last season. He has a total of 10 points so far this season. Just above him are defenseman Hampus Lindholm (11 points) and right wing David Pastrnak (18 points).

In the off-season, the Bruins made the trade for Paval Zacha from the NJ Devils. The Devils got Eric Haula in return. Zacha has put up 6 points for the team so far this season. The Bruins are looking good out on the ice, giving New England fans some hope for the 22-23 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs. After a first-round exit in the playoffs last season the players, coaches, and fans are hungry for the cup.
