Oakmont Holds Another Set of Town Hall Meetings
On Wednesday, December 21st, Oakmont allowed students to voice their concerns within the school. For the second time, Principal Lizotte held town hall meetings, assisted by Student Council President Helen Yan and Student Advisory Council President Dani Lewis. Juniors and seniors made up the first meeting, followed by freshmen and sophomores after. Some problems that were brought up included limited parking , options in the cafeteria, and the state of the bathrooms. Lizotte, Yan, and Lewis answered to the best of their ability, and informed the student body that any questions not fully answered would be responded to via email in the coming weeks. Overall, the meetings help try and improve Oakmont and accommodate its students’ needs.
