The Oakmont Music Department has officially wrapped up its season with its annual School Tours. 

On Friday, June 9th five fantastic ensembles traveled to Overlook Middle School, then to John R. Briggs Elementary, and finished the day off at Westminster Elementary. 

Those five ensembles consisted of the Marching Band, Winter Percussion, Winter Guard, Jazz Band, and Select Choir. The Marching Band performed the music from their fall show, Signals. Winter Percussion performed their show, United We Stand, and Winter Guard performed their show, Checkmate. 

Jazz Band and Select Choir filled in the gaps of the above ensembles and performed their favorite charts. The choir sang Somebody to Love and Everything for all of the schools, and the jazz band performed a mix of charts, including some from their performance at the Gold Medal Showcase last month. 

After a long day of performances, the department finished the day off with a celebratory barbecue and said goodbye to all of the seniors.
