Sophie Newell, Reporter
Sophie Newell is a part of the Class of 2026 at Oakmont Regional High School, this is her third year as a member of The Oakmonitor. She is a member of the Marching Band, Class Office, SADD, SHF, and the lacrosse team. In her spare time, she enjoys being with friends and swimming. After graduation, she hopes to go to college to become a pilot. Sophie has already been recognized for her writing talents, being awarded an Honorable Mention in the Will McDonough Boston Globe Sports Writing contest.
Megan Vance, Sports Editor
Megan Vance is part of the Class of 2026 at Oakmont Regional High School. This is her third year writing for The Oakmonitor, and she is currently the Sports Editor. Besides that, she is a member of the Student Council and French Honors Society. Megan also plays lacrosse in the spring and works at Wachusett Mountain. Outside of school, she loves spending time with friends and family and listening to music. She is excited to contribute to, and improve the sports section of The Oakmonitor.
