Boys’ Basketball
The #29 seed boys basketball team defeated Greater Lawrence Tech last night and will now travel to Pittsfield on Friday to play the #4 Taconic High School Thunder in the round of 32 for the Division 3 State Tournament.   There is a 5 PM tip-off.  FYI – It is a 2-hour drive to get there from Oakmont so the team will dismissed early.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and Seniors at the door, CASH ONLY

Girls’ Hockey
The Leominster Girls Hockey team (Oakmont Co-ops with them) has Five ORHS ladies participating.

The  #27 seed girls hockey team is headed to play  #6 seeded Longmeadow tomorrow at 6:30 PM.
Cheerleading
The details for this Regional Competition just came out.  The girls head to Shepard Hill High School this Sunday, March 3rd.  Their estimated performance time is about 10:30.  It is suggested that you arrive by 10:30.  Performance times may fluctuate.  Tickets for this event are via GoFAN

Nola Patty is a part of the Class of 2024 at Oakmont Regional High School. This is her third year being a part of The Oakmonitor. Her main focus on the Oakmonitor page is sports/sports photography. Nola is a member of the Marching Spartans, and she plays lacrosse for the school as well. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music, watching hockey, and hanging out with friends. Nola has always wanted to be successful, but she never puts it above having fun and making memories. She enjoys taking photos, capturing happy moments for others, and writing about sports. A long-term goal for her is to work in social media marketing or broadcasting for the NHL. Nola was appointed to the 2024 All-State MASPA Journalist staff.
