Spring activities!

With Winter coming to an end soon and Spring starting, here’s a list of Spring activities to do!

By yourself :

  • Garden

You can garden some plants such as broccoli and carrots in the spring! If you want, you can also do this with your friends and family and work together to garden plants.

  • Nature walk

With the weather starting to warm, it’s a perfect time to explore nature and spend time outside.

  • Bike, walk, or jog outside

Also with weather warming, you can pull out your bike or just jog outside and maybe get into a routine!

  • Hiking

Perfect hiking season is starting to come around, which is great if you want to get into hiking and don’t know where to start.

  • Outside mindfulness

Mindful is someone who is great year-round but with the weather nice and peaceful, with it being not too hot or not too cold. Try mindfulness outside!

  • Bird watching

Birds starting to come out more, get a pair of binoculars and see what kind of birds you can spot

With friends or family:

  • Have a picnic

Gather some of your friends or family members, pick some food from out of your house or from the grocery store. Then find the perfect spot and have a picnic!

  • Flower picking

With flowers starting to bloom are perfect for flower picking and making flower crowns. Or maybe just identify what flowers you see and take in the beauty of them.

  • Feed ducks

Going to find a place with some ducks can make for a nice evening. Make sure that you are allowed to feed ducks at whatever spot you go to!

  • Go fishing

Spring is one of the best seasons to go fishing! Get some fishing gear and see what fish you can catch!

  • Go camping

Going camping is something that can be very fun and exciting. Prep for camping with friends or family, choose a spot, and camp for a night or two.

  • Spend time outside

  • Start a new sport

You can start talking to your family about starting a new sport or continuing with one. You can also ask your friends if they want to join you. ex. track, lacrosse, baseball, softball
