Do you enjoy BBQs? Is it because of the games or seeing your friends and families? Many people like BBQs because of the food, but what kind of food?
We surveyed Oakmont students about their favorite BBQ foods and got interesting results. Do you know what a shish kabob is because we didn’t? Freshman Cecelia Sears added this to our list. 5 people checked this food off. The next one is a burger. Many people like this BBQ food. There were thirty people to check this off. Chicken was also on the survey; this one was one of the popular ones with seventeen tallyś. Hotdogs ew, not many people liked this one. There were only eleven people to check this one off. We didn’t think that pasta salad was popular! Well, it is, with twenty tallies on the survey. Potato salad isn’t as popular as pasta salad. The potato salad had eleven tallies. We thought this one would be more popular. Fruit yum, Many people tallied the fruit There were thirty-two people to check this off. This nice refreshing summer treat was a hit. There were nineteen people to check popsicles off. We thought steak would have been a more popular option, but there weren’t as many as we expected. There were 17 people. The sausage was not popular; there were only 8 people to check it off. Veggie burgers were very unpopular. There were 6 people to check this one off. Mac n cheese was added by sophomore Jayden B. There were only 5 people to check this one off but we don’t think this is a BBQ food.
