Annual District-Wide Choir Night

All the Ash-West singers together

On Thursday, March 20th, the Ash-West District singers came together to sing in the annual District Choir Night! This concert included performances by John R. Briggs Elementary regular and Select choirs, Westminster Elementary’s choir, Overlook Middle School’s choir, and Oakmont’s Concert and Select Choir. After the individual performances by each school, all the singers came together and sang The Star-Spangled Banner, Seasons of Love, and The Little Mermaid. Great job to all performers and the music departments next district concert will be District Jazz Night on Thursday, April 17th. We’d love to see you there!

Kaitlyn Renda is part of the Class of 2026 at Oakmont Regional High School. This is her third and final year writing for The Oakmonitor, and she is currently the Co-Editor-in-Chief. She’s in Marching Band, Jazz Band, SHF, Best Buddies, SADD, and NHS. She also competes in outdoor Track and Field in the spring. In her free time, Kaitlyn enjoys long car rides, playing and listening to music, watching movies, and solving puzzles. Kaitlyn is excited to write and edit for The Oakmonitor this year.
