Have you ever wanted to go on vacation, but didn’t know where? If you are thinking yes, then there is an amazing place with beaches, sunshine, and theme parks: Florida. We are going to be exploring the top 5, so let’s dive in.
The first stop on our tour is Orlando. Known for its wonderful Disney parks and beautiful weather, it has something for everybody! But there is more to Orlando than the amusement rides and weather. For example, you can watch the daily parades or fireworks. According to Hand Luggage Only, ”There are so many great parks in Orlando, with Disney World being the most famous.”
The next stop on our tour involves getting a little wet. If you’re okay with that, then there is an amazing beach at Westgate Cocoa Pier. This beach is also a historic landmark that covers a long distance: 80 miles. It also has bars, restaurants, and live music that can brighten your day. When all is said and done, you can even stop by the gift shop to buy something that reminds you of your time at the Pier. According to Westgate Resorts, “The Pier offers beach rentals, freshwater showers, regulation beach volleyball courts, lifeguards year-round, and access to some of the absolute best surfing on the East Coast!” Even if you’ve never been, you can start now.
The third stop on our tour brings you back to Greek times-Tarpon Springs. Here, you can do many fun activities like taking a walk on some of the local beaches or visiting the aquarium. You can also shop and try different Greek food. If you want to learn how to sponge dive, then you can take a boat tour. According to Must Love Traveling, “Tarpon Springs is filled with fun activities, cute shops, and great Greek restaurants, making it a fun place to spend a day.” This is a great place to go if you are looking for something relaxing to do while you’re in Florida.
The fourth stop on our tour is Panama City Beach. There is so much to do there, from sunbathing at the beach to eating at amazing restaurants. During spring break, there are a lot of college students, but the rest of the year is usually quiet. On top of a beach and restaurants, you can visit nature parks or see an abundance of wildlife. For example, some dolphins can be spotted. According to Travel Republic, “While this area draws huge crowds of US students in spring break, the rest of the year is largely peaceful – perfect if you want to soak up some of that famous Florida sunshine.” So if you’re on vacation, be sure to visit Panama City Beach.
The fifth stop on our tour is Key West. If you’ve never been before, I highly recommend it. Key West offers warm beaches and beautiful sunsets. You can even go to the aquarium and visit museums. If you enjoy the sunset, then you can go sunset sailing. For people who are fans of seafood, there is plenty of seafood to eat. There is something for everyone, even history fans. So if that’s you, be sure to visit Hemingway’s house. According to Planet with Sara, “When visiting Key West, getting out on the water is a must! There are many great local companies to go boating with.”
Florida has so many attractions that it can be hard to choose just one. So if you’re planning to take a trip there at any point, make sure to check out at least one of these places for a great time!
