The Patriot’s experience- winning. Winning has been a Patriots tradition for a multitude of years with Tom Brady and now Drake Maye. The Patriots are having a very successful season. Star QB Drake Maye is having an MVP-caliber season with a high completion percentage and more than just a handful of touchdowns. There are Rookies popping off left and right, you never know who’s going to score next with this Patriots team. It all adds to the experience.
The Patriots are 9-2 after their win over the NY Jets. They are a prime-time team that thousands of people want to see in person at Gillette Stadium. I am one of those lucky people who got to see this team. Based on my experience, I will rate it from 1-5 based on the following: the game, the fans, and the food.
The Game: This game vs the Jets wasn’t the most interesting. It was still a good game with ups and downs and fun plays, but it wasn’t very close, so it wasn’t the most interesting. Quarterback Drake Maye and Running Back TreVeyon Henderson played very well and both contributed a lot to the score, with TreVeyon Henderson having 3 touchdowns and Maye at QB throwing the ball for over 250 yards. Overall, I’d rate the game a 3 / 5 because the team is fun to watch play no matter what.
The Fans: Patriots’ fans are amazing. There is so much energy in every play, no matter what. The team could be losing by 50 and be in the red zone for their first touchdown, and the stadium would be shaking from the sound of the fans. Even on defensive plays, fans would scream and get ready for the next, even if we let up a first down. Everyone looked happy and excited to be there; nobody was hating on the team, and everyone was in full support of the new young team. That’s why I give the fans a 5/5.
Food: Food is one of the most important things at a football game. The warm, greasy food is supposed to replenish your energy after cheering and yelling for your favorite team. If the food is too expensive or tasteless, you’re not gonna be too happy. The food at the game was pretty good. It was warm, not cold, and the chicken fingers basically melted in your mouth. The fries were hot and not soggy, and were replenished. For snacks, I had popcorn, and it was salty with a little sweetness, which is good in the cold weather because it wasn’t so salty that it dried out your lips. Both of these items were only like 15 dollars together, which is cheap for a football game. All in all, I give the food portion a rating of 4.5/5 based on price and taste.
