While I predicted zebra stripes to have a major takeover in 2025, it was actually polka dots that took the crown. Available in various sizes, polka dots are a fun and vintage print that made a huge comeback in 2025. Fashion designers took this pattern and went all out, incorporating monochrome and fun colors, which appeared in every form, whether it’s on a cute top, a dress, or even accessories like bags and phone cases. Overall, polka dots had a huge impact on 2025 fashion and are here to stay!
2000s Fashion Stays In Style
As I mentioned in my 2025 fashion trend predictions, 2000s fashion was a significant trend throughout the year. Baggy jeans, cargo pants, and even layering tank tops were all popular trends this year. The 2000s comeback wasn’t just a fleeting micro-trend; it was a full fashion takeover. Celebrities and influencers have adopted a nostalgic fashion style, pairing it with contemporary elements to keep things fresh and modern. The comeback of 2000s fashion was not just a trend, but a whole lifestyle!
Skinny Jeans Silent Return
Skinny jeans did have their comeback in 2025, but not quite as big as I had previously predicted. While they did make their way back into fashion, the baggy jeans look continues to reign supreme, especially with youth fashion. Adidas Becomes the Go-To Shoe
Adidas sneakers have come in bold throughout 2025! Different styles such as Campus 00s, sambas, and gazelles can be found all over social media. These versatile shoes are styled with jeans, a skirt, or even dresses; they can be seen everywhere. These shoes offer comfort and style, making them the perfect shoes. While Hokas and OnClouds remain popular in active wear, Adidas led the way as the most popular shoe of 2025!
Statement Belts Back In Bold
Belts weren’t just functional in 2025; they were a key part of the outfit! Belts are the perfect way to elevate an outfit or add a pop of color. Not only is this accessory highly functional, but it’s super versatile! Belts come in a wide range of colors and styles and can be styled in so many different ways. Statement belts were popular in 2025 and will continue to be popular in 2026.
