Every year, Oakmont hosts a dodgeball tournament that brings a lot of school spirit and raises money for former Oakmont history teacher Colin Carey. Teams of up to 6 or 7, if one is a coach, compete to win the tournament. This event is hosted every yearand is definitely something worth signing up for. So, tell friends and peers alike to either register to cheer from the stands.

Jada Sandjong is part of the Class of 2028. This is her second year being part of The Oakmonitor, and also is in charge of posting the daily announcements on the site. She is part of the Student Council. Jada spends time with her family and friends in her free time, and she also enjoys going to different beaches. She also likes to sleep during the weekends whenever she is able to. Jada is excited to be a part of the oakmonitor.
